Frank Carsten Herzog

Managing Partner
Frank Carsten Herzog is the developer of the LaserCUSING© technology, i.e., powder bed-based laser melting of metals, and is listed as an inventor in 55 property right families and 483 individual property rights. He founded Concept Laser GmbH together with his wife Kerstin, and the company evolved into one of the leaders in the AM industry. In 2016, GE acquired 75 % of the shares in Concept Laser. He studied mechanical engineering at Coburg University of Applied Sciences and graduated as Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) (graduate engineer).

Kerstin K. Herzog

Managing Partner
Kerstin Herzog studied mechanical engineering at Coburg University of Applied Sciences and played a key role in the development of the LaserCUSING® technology. As co-founder of Concept Laser GmbH, she was responsible for finances and human resources for 15 years. Her focus remained on these two fields even after GE's investment, and she worked together with GE to adapt the family business to the structures of a global corporation. Today, Kerstin Herzog happily uses her experience and expertise to promote young entrepreneurs. 
She completed her studies with the title Diplom-Ingenieurin (FH) (graduate engineer).

Christian Steinhage

Managing Director
Christian Steinhage studied Precision Engineering / Mechatronics at the Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg and graduated with a degree in engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur). This was followed by an extra-occupational Executive MBA in Business Management at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. He worked for six years for a French automobile manufacturer in the field of exhaust systems. Starting as an engineer in product development, after two years, he took on project management for the customers Daimler, BMW and the VW Group and managed national and international projects in the development and series stage.
In the position as Global Director Sales & Project Management with one of the leading German manufacturers of engine and transmission applications, he was responsible for heading a key account and project management team and supporting various OEM customers worldwide. Until 2023, he worked as the Head of a Business Unit and Engineering Manager at a leading global manufacturer of catalytic converters for automotive and non-automotive applications. In his role as Managing Director, Christian Steinhage leads and enriches naddcon GmbH with his distinctive technical expertise and many years of experience at an international management level.

Florian Walter

Development Engineer

Florian Walter studied materials science at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg and completed his studies with the title of Diplom-Ingeieur (Univ.) (graduate engineer). He then worked in the Customer Experience Center of the world market leader for vibratory finishing technology for 10 years and took over its management in 2015. As part of his training as a specialist trainer with TÜV Rheinland-certified qualification, he was also able to expand his didactic skills. He imparted his extensive knowledge in the field of post-treatment and surface finishing in a targeted manner in practice-oriented seminars at the in-house academy.
Joining naddcon in 2021 as a development engineer, Florian serves as the primary point of contact for young founders and start-ups, providing the technical evaluation and support for underlying ideas in the field of additive manufacturing. He also oversees post-processing and project management activities.

Sebastian Kallenberg

Application & Development Engineer

Sebastian Kallenberg completed a dual study program, graduating as a trained cutting machine operator and earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree. At Trier University of Applied Sciences, he focused on production technology, specializing in logistics and the CAx process chain. Sebastian's bachelor's thesis explored the complementary nature of additive manufacturing to polymer injection molding. He then pursued a master's program in digital product development, earning him a Master of Engineering degree in 2017 with his thesis on "Development of an application for preparing …
parts in NX for additive manufacturing." As part of his doctoral research, he specialized in increasing efficiency in additive manufacturing using standard thermoplastic pellets. Joining naddcon in 2021 as an application and development engineer, Sebastian is responsible for AM polymer systems, CAx systems and IT security.

Tobias Träger

Technical Center Manager

Tobias Träger successfully completed an apprenticeship in industrial mechanics specializing in machine and systems technology. After starting his career in 2008, he focused on additive equipment for 3D metal printing and was initially responsible for the machine pre-acceptance equipment prior to delivery. As global field service engineer he subsequently managed the installation, maintenance, and repair of additive systems worldwide. In his role as a 2nd level technical support specialist, Tobias handled complex customer-specific rebuilds and provided training to customers and service partners around the world.
Until 2022, he worked as lead technical support specialist, supporting new developments and enhancements, systematically analyzing technical issues, and implementing technical solutions. As head of naddcon's Technical Center, Tobias is also responsible for occupational safety and facility management.

Jasmin Will

Jasmin Will began her professional journey with vocational training as a precision mechanic. During her apprenticeship, she delved into the world of 3D printing technology and applications, gaining hands-on experience with 3D printers. After completing her training, Jasmin worked as a CAM programmer before joining naddcon as an additive manufacturing specialist in July 2022. In her current role, she takes charge of the shopfloor and system operation.
